Sébastien Poirier

Depuis 2009, Sébastien Poirier est chercheur à l’IREQ (Institut de recherche d’Hydro-Québec). Il participe actuellement à des projets de R&D liés à l’évaluation d’état des disjoncteurs à haute tension. Il contribue au développement de nouveaux outils de diagnostic dédiés à l’amélioration des stratégies de maintenance et de la pérennité des équipements électriques. Il est membre du groupe de travail CIGRÉ A3.28 (Switching phenomena and testing requirements for UHV & EHV equipment) et membre du groupe de travail CIGRÉ A3.32 (Non-intrusive methods for condition assessment of T&D switchgears). Monsieur Poirier a rejoint le corps professoral de l’IGEE en 2015 où il enseigne le cours d’appareillages électrique.
